MFT Card Sketch #165

This one I'm linking up to MFT card sketch #165. It came together much faster than expected and features MFT Pure Innocence You're Special. Also got to use my MFT stitched circles dies for the first time!

I love having sketches to work with. Saves me so much time! I do have trouble picking papers to use. Sometimes having a lot of something isn't always a good thing! lol The flowers are from my huge Prima stash.

Happy stamping!

Stamping Bella Sketch Challenge #4

Here's my card for Stamping Bella Sketch Challenge #4

I finally got to ink up Uptown Girl (can you tell I love my Uptown Girls?!) Sunny is Stylish. Colored her with my Prismacolor pencils and odorless mineral spirits.  You can't tell but I used glossy accents on her sunglasses. Not my usual brighter color palette but I think she turned out rather cute (patting myself on the back! haha).

Thanks for looking. Have a great weekend!

My first Some Odd Girl Stamp Set

I resisted getting any of the Some Odd Girl images initially but after getting this one, I was sold! I've since amassed quite a collection of the clear sets but this was the first one I ever inked up. I loved how she turned out. She is colored with Copics and popped up on dimensionals. The wreath is a retired MFT die and the sentiment from a Papertrey Ink set. Thanks for taking a peak now go get inky! ^^

Cheers!

Stampin Bella Uptown Girl Catherine Nibbling Chocolate

Another late night for me but at least it has been a productive one. I am planning to enter my card in this week's Stampin Bella's sketch and color challenge.

Inspired by AmyR's card, I inked up Uptown Girl Catherine Nibbling Chocolate and colored her in with my Copics. The sentiment stamp is from the Some Odd Girl Deck the Halls Tobie set and punched out with my very loved Stampin Up Modern Labels punch.

I think she turned out rather cute! Thanks for taking a peek.

Hope you're enjoying your weekend.

Ice Cream Soup

My kids received an adorable Mini Mouse table set for Christmas from a good friend of ours. The table always ended up pushed against the refrigerator. That was fine as we'd just push it out of the way when we needed to get to the contents. Well...that was until hubby discovered the fridge had been turned off (he went for ice cream last night only to find ice cream soup). It would appear that the little one (she's the climber) got on the table and somehow managed to switch everything off. In case you're wondering, we have a touch screen on the outside of the door that controls the fridge. Gotta love technology!

I think I've found a happier place for the set. Now I can craft and watch my kids. ^^

Hope you're getting some time to craft this weekend!

Getting inky with CC Designs Banner KiKi La Rue

Hi there!

My hubby rearranged my entire craft room recently (no small task as I don't like to throw anything crafty out!). I've been slowly getting reorganized and even purging. I know you're thinking: Whaa-whaa whaa-what?! What true crafter purges?! lol But it was really time!
Photos of my room will be posted once I am satisfied with the way it looks. May take a year or two at the rate I move. ^^

But enough of my rambling - let's get on with the crafty show!

I recently picked up CC Designs Banner KiKi La Rue. Knew my stamp collection wouldn't be complete without her. :)

Inked Kiki up with Memento black ink and colored her with my Copics. The layout was inspired by this MFT Stamps sketch. Cut her out with the MFT Die-Namics Pierced Rectangle Stax dies (I am totally on a pierced dies kick right now). Papers are from this year's Michaels' Valentine 6x6 pad. The sentiment is from AmyR's Sweet Sentiments set. Glittered up the heart and Kiki's banner with my Wink of Stella pen.

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!
